Nayan is looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to support our clients in growing, maintaining, and optimizing their e-commerce presence on the Shopify platform. In this role, you will design seamless user journeys, enhance the customer experience, and help build high-performing Shopify websites that reflect each client’s unique goals.
This is a dynamic position where you’ll collaborate closely with Nayan team members and clients across diverse industries. Your technical expertise and creative mindset will help craft tailored e-commerce solutions that drive real impact.
Your Mission
As a Shopify Developer at Nayan, you will:
Develop custom-built Shopify e-commerce sites from the ground up.
Audit and optimize existing Shopify websites for performance and user experience.
Improve site functionality through clean, efficient code.
Design and implement engaging user journeys and intuitive UX/UI.
Work with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Liquid.
Train clients on how to effectively manage their Shopify store.
Clearly communicate the capabilities and limitations of Shopify to clients.
Ensure websites are fully responsive across all devices.
Embed SEO best practices and performance-enhancing features.
Collaborate with digital marketing professionals to align web development with strategic goals.
You Bring
At least 3 years of experience developing successful Shopify e-commerce websites.
Strong technical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and digital marketing basics (including SEO).
Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
A proactive mindset and the ability to manage complexity with clarity.
The confidence to advise clients and represent Nayan with empathy and professionalism.
A collaborative, team-oriented attitude – and the ability to work independently when needed.
