Senior E-commerce Developer (Shopify & Salesforce Commerce Cloud)

Nayan is looking for a Senior E-commerce Developer to support our clients in growing, maintaining, and optimizing their digital commerce platforms. You’ll work on projects in Shopify and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, where you’ll configure apps, build cartridges, style frontends, and develop integrations with third-party systems.
This is a dynamic position where your technical expertise and problem-solving mindset will directly impact the success of international brands.
Your Mission
As a Senior E-commerce Developer at Nayan, you will:
Develop and optimize e-commerce solutions in Shopify and Salesforce Commerce Cloud
Configure and integrate new apps, cartridges, and third-party tools
Build API connections to connect external software with e-commerce platforms
Take ownership of frontend styling and UX adjustments
Ensure websites are scalable, secure, and performant
Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver complete solutions
You Bring
At least 5 years of experience in software or web development
Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with API development and integrations (REST/GraphQL)
Knowledge of Git/version control
A fast learner who can quickly adapt to new systems and technologies
Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
Nice to Have
Experience with Shopify (Liquid, app integrations)
Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (cartridges, customization)
Experience with SASS and Webpack
Experience with Ruby
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and performance optimization
